We offer self-pay options and we will gladly offer a superbill to submit to your medical plan for possible reimbursement. First Appointment FAQs

Q: I have a health insurance plan, can I book online? 

A: We require patients to call our office and book over the phone when using a health insurance plan.

This allows our staff the time needed to verify insurance coverage information for your appointment.

Q: Do you take X-rays on every patient?
A: Our office does not have an X-ray unit onsite. When clinically indicated, we will refer our patients to their preferred imaging facility.


Q: What happens in the first appointment? 
A: During your first appointment, our chiropractor will take a detailed history and perform an examination. The examination may consist of neurological and orthopedic exams, as well as functional assessments like gait analysis, postural analysis, and motion palpation.

Your clinician may also wish to observe the specific movement patterns (like running, lifting, sitting at a desk, etc.) that worsen any symptoms to determine the best treatment. Depending on the results of this exam, they may provide treatment on the first visit and/or provide exercises to perform at home. If necessary, they may send out for X-rays or other advanced imaging procedures.


Q: What is a typical care plan like?
A: Every patient receives
personalized care that takes into account their goals, clinical findings, examination results, and their personal wellness goals. We discuss their short-term and long-term goals for getting back to the things they love!


Q: What types of services do you offer?
A:  Services offered at Aviva Family Chiropractic may include joint manipulation, physical therapy, soft tissue treatments, assisted stretch, 
therapeutic and rehabilitation exercise, self care recommendations, home exercise, and nutritional supplements. 


We offer 2 hour free parking during your appointment. Make sure to park in the Paseo Caribe Parking Garage and bring your ticket to validate at our office during your appointment.

Parking Level 3 is the best access for our office. If using the elevators, go to (ML) level.
